When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you’ll never get back. Your time is your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time. — Rick Warren (via kushandwizdom)

When you have a broken heart, the first thing a stranger will ask is ‘how long were you two together?’ As if your pain can be determined by how long you were with someone. Or if you were with them at all. I don’t think that’s how it works. I think unrequited love is just as valid as any other kind. It’s just as crushing and just as thrilling. — Taylor Swift (via taylorsvift)
God doesn’t want us to just barely get by in life. He wants us to thrive and experience the fullness of His blessing. Not only does He want to meet our needs, He wants us to be in a position to reach out and help meet the needs of others, too.
When we pray and ask God for something, it opens a supernatural door. Our faith gives God something to work with. Faith is what pleases Him. Faith moves mountains. Did you know that it pleases God when we pray bold prayers and ask Him for big things? God loves it when we step outside of the realm of the possible and totally believe what He can do. With God, all things are possible!
Today, I encourage you to get bold with your prayers. Ask God for big things. Believe that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Put your faith to work because God is faithful. He has big things in store for you, and He says to ask Him!
His Majesty taught me that the positive image can evolve mindsets. We don’t wear guidance pins and wave our flags for show, we do it to let the world know that our symbols are mighty, and they, along with good works, can change the world! #July23 #BlessedEarthstrong #Rastafari #KingofKings #ThereIsLife #EternalLife #BeRevolutionary #ChangetheWorld #symbols #MadeInHisImage #DontBeConfused #Africanhistory #Ethiopia #education #HaileSelassieI
This shuka (traditional cloth/fabric worn by the Maasai) became my safety blanket while being sick, while driving on scary/rough roads, and while having an emotional breakdown in the mountains. One day I wore it traditionally to fetch water and the women at the community water tank had a debate over whose brother/cousin/son I should marry.😐 (at Nairobi, Kenya)
